Geography & Heritage

Addu Atoll, also known as Seenu Atoll, is the southernmost atoll of the Maldives archipelago. Unlike many other atolls in the country, the islands of Addu are large and some are connected by a 14km long Link Road.

The city has a rich history, having served as a significant hub for trade and a strategic location during World War II. Today, it stands as the second-largest urban area in the Maldives, driving progress through tourism, fisheries, and a growing digital economy.
